Stop watching land go saline…let’s fix it! – Manangatang

This workshop will provide you with the tools to bring saline land back to production. You will learn how to install a piezometer, test your water salinity and come away with a personalised management plan to help you solve your own Mallee seeps. Plus, all attendees will receive Puccinellia and Tall wheatgrass seeds to start remediating your bare scolds.

9.40 am Mallee Seeps 101 – Run through of the decision tree and how to use it – Chris McDonough

10.40 am Travel to seep site – carpool

11:00 am Onsite – Piezo setup, tape measure, remote sensing options and water testing – Chris McDonough

11.45am Travel back to venue

12 noon Lunch (supplied)
