  • Finishing lambs in a down-turn, calculating your feed costs and returns
  • Feeding options for animals in containment (feed budgets for animals on forage shrubs vs in containment)
  • Confinement design and animal health in confinement

  • Summary of emerging animal health threats – sensible steps to manage risks, when/how to do a biosecurity plan?

12:30PM-2:30PM | Tour of local farms

  • Visit several confinement and forage shrubs set-ups in the local area
  • See how forage shrubs and other perennials are being used to manage saline land and improve whole farm feed supply
